The series Entomonograph was established in 1978 and ten volumes were published up to 1988 by E.J.Brill Publishers in Leiden, The Netherlands. Most volumes are now out of print. Apollo Books are now re-instroducing the series with a revision of the Australian Stiletto-flies. This new volume will be an important contibution to the knowledge of these fascinating flies as it contains descriptions of not less than 70 new species of the total of 93 species known from Australia.
