It is for the first time in Bulgarian linguistics that problems of stylistics are discussed in terms of syntax. A long time ago Lomonosov defined stylistics as "higher syntax", probably having in mind that stylistics, a general linguistic discipline, deals with all issues of the language practice. For this reason today phonostylistic, morphostylistic and syntactico-stylistic problems are not regarded as independent one from another but in their interdependence. The book is an attempt to deal with these problems. Syntax and Stylistics will be of use to teachers and lecturers, school and university students, writers, journalists and all people who take an interest in the issues of Bulgarian stylistics.
