Notes:
The second volume in the series Interlanguage Asymetry Phenomena in Translating from a Foreign Language into Bulgarian contains three separate monographs dealing with the devices for the expression of non-experiential modality in Bulgarian, English and Russian and for the expression of imperativity in Polish and Bulgarian. The first two monographs offer a treatment of the quotative in the two foreign languages that are most often translated into Bulgarian - English and Russian. The third monograph reveals the semantic aspect of the category of imperativity. The book pursues purely theoretical as well as practical purposes. It will be a valuable aid for Bulgarian translators from and into English, Russian and Polish, for translators from other languages, for editors, teachers, university students and for all people who take an interest in the problems of translation.
