Is there some order and typicality in the changes of an extremely dynamic category like the lexical meaning? This book represents an attempt to give a positive answer to this question. The author has established certain regularities in the formation of the semantic structure of the noun that are similar to the grammatical ones in their significance for the development and the organization of the lexicon.
