The book deals with three issue concerning the complex sentence in Bulgarian that have remained insufficiently explored in the linguistic literature - in both general studies and separate monographs: the meanings of conjunctions and the type of syntactic relationship, the role of relational words in the sentence, and the splitting and separate structuring of syntactic entities. These are issues that are related to semantic and stylistic syntax and illustrate the phenomenon of asymmetry: a non-correspondence and a contradiction between form and content, between structure and semantics.
