Fifteenth-century Bulgarian writer Vladislav the Grammarian was one of the foremost scholars in the Balkan region. His collections of manuscrips are based on a special pattern and constitute a compendium of major translations and original Bulgarian texts produced between the 13th and 15th centuries. The arrangement of the texts is chronological, starting with the 1465 Collection followed by the Zagreb Collection (1469), the Adrianti Collection (1473), the Rila Panegyric (1479) and three other collections of texts compiled in the 1470s and 1480s respectively. The catalogue is followed by indices of proper names, geographical locations and topics as well as an incipitarium. The book includes also a selection of texts and photographs.
