| Abstract
Recently collected specimens of the distinctive pimpline genus, Umanella, from Colombia and Ecuador are assigned to Umanella caerulea Gauld (now known from Costa Rica and Colombia) and Umanella giacometti Broad & Saaksjarvi, sp. n. (from Ecuador). Variation within and between species is evaluated.
