Provisional social programme:

Monday, August 20th, 19:30: Welcome reception.

Wednesday, August 22th, 09:00: One-day excursion to the town of Melnik.

Thursday, August 23th, 19:30: Banquet.

Friday, August 24th, 19:30: Beer party.

Symposium excursion

Excursion will be a day visit to Melnik — a picturesque medieval town, famous for its sandstone pyramids, old Bulgarian architecture and red wine. A brief wine-tasting is strongly recommended. Sir Winston Churchill used to purchase ca 500 litres of Melnik wine each year. Rozhen Monastery is situated close to the town and is an impressive Bulgarian heritage.
